With the closure of Pleasure Island, Disney lost some of it’s nightlife for adults only. While I will always miss the Adventure’s Club (still crossing my fingers that it will someday be re-created), Disney gives it’s guests some great options for nightly entertainment. Next time you are on vacation place the kids in one of the resort’s kid’s clubs and sit back and relax. Many of the bars and lounges offer a limited menu so feel free to have a late night snack as well. My personal favorite is the Tambu Lounge located in the Polynesian. Stop by and pick up a Lapu Lapu then head to the beach. The white sand is cool and you might be lucky enough to find an empty hammock. There is no better place to watch the fireworks over the Magic Kingdom.
The Disney Food Blog list their Top Ten Disney World Bars and Lounges. I’m looking forward to checking some of them out on our next trip.
